November 8th, 2010 i2i presents to Summerland, BC City Council and receives overwhelming support of involvement in the proposed Community Intergenerational Demonstration Initiative.
This Initiative now has Campbell River, BC and Summerland, BC as confirmed participants, and is working with Sidney, BC, Ft. St. John, BC and Squamish, BC regarding interest in their involvement in the project to start Spring 2011.
November 4th, 2010 ~i2i meets with University of Victoria researcher regarding Meadows School Project article for Journal. ~i2i meets with BC Care Providers. ~i2i presents at Oak Bay Kiwanis Club, Saanich, BC
October 29th, 2010 i2i meets with Toronto grad students interested in pursuing Intergenerational studies.

October 22-24th, 2010 i2i introduced to health care, RCMP and school, Churchill, MB regarding new national curriculum to be launched in November.
October 20th, 2010 i2i continues discussions in Campbell River, BC with parties interested in Community Intergenerational Demonstration Initiative.
October 13th, 2010 i2i meets with BC Ministry of Healthy Living and Sport, Senior Secretariat representatives regarding proposed Community IG Demonstration Initiative.
October 12th, 2010 i2i Executive Director Sharon MacKenzie requested to attend National Seniors Council Roundtable as advisor on Intergenerational Relations, Victoria, BC.
September 30th, 2010 i2i writes to CBC TV ‘Dragons’ Den’ to request that they consider designating a show to not-for-profits in order to bring awareness to Canadians about work in the not-for-profit sector, and encourage businesses, by way of a Dragon’s example, to also “invest” in this vital work with donations to our causes. NO RESPONSE as of November 17th, 2010.
September 29th, 2010 i2i meets with Elizabeth Podnieks, Vice President of INPEA and founder and chair of WEAAD (World Elder Abuse Awareness Day).
September 26th, 2010 i2i Support Director and author of Intergenerational Book Series model, celebrates 95th birthday and has well-wishers donate to i2i Intergenerational Society.
September 24th, 2010 i2i meets with Okanagan College, Vernon, BC to create partnership involvement in Meadows School Intergenerational Literacy Project.
September 22nd, 2010 i2i opens discussion with Women In Business regarding intergenerational mentoring project.
September 19th, 2010 i2i Director John Cochrane, 94, does benefit concert at Schubert Centre, Vernon, BC. Director Sarah Hanson brings four generations of her family to participate.
September 17th, 2010 i2i meets further with representatives from BC Ministry of Healthy Living and Sport, Senior Secretariat, regarding details of proposed demonstration initiative.
September 16th, 2010 i2i presents to community representatives of Sidney, BC regarding proposed Community Intergenerational Demonstration Initiative.
September 15, 2010 i2i on-going dialogue with University of Victoria researcher regarding evaluative and assessment tools for Intergenerational relations.

July 9th, 2010 i2i, an incorporated Society (2008) in good standing applies for Charitable Status, Revenue Canada.
July 6th, 2010 i2i conference call with BC Ministry of Healthy Living and Sport, Senior Secretariat, regarding proposed Community Intergenerational Demonstration Initiative.
July 5th, 2010 i2i informed that The National Seniors Council....which was established to "advise the Government of Canada on all matters related to the well-being and quality of life of seniors" and provides advice to the Minister of State for Seniors, has announced that their priorities for this year are "intergenerational relations" and labour force participation.
June 17th, 2010 i2i President Sam Nolan, 20, presents $500 i2i Scholarship to grade 12 student involved in intergenerational volunteer work.
June 15th, 2010 i2i participates in World Elder Abuse Awareness Day after launching Intergenerational Day Canada, June 1st to bring awareness to prevention of elder abuse through building respectful intergenerational relationships.
May 25, 2010 Community Presentation on i2i Intergenerational Society presented by founder Sharon MacKenzie, facilitated by SD67 Board of Education and community members of Summerland, BC.
