Respectful and purposeful intergenerational relations prevent Elder Abuse.

 

 

FIND SOMEONE FROM A DIFFERENT GENERATION AND

IF you have a few seconds,

-make eye contact and smile

-hold the door for the person to pass through

-say ‘Have a good day!’

 

IF you have five minutes,

-call to say hello

-put the number in your cell phone book so you can call again sometime

-give a single flower

 

IF you have half an hour,

-sit down and have a conversation

-go for a short walk

 

IF you have an hour or two,

-share a meal

-go to a movie

-play a game
